We ran this old man for about 4 hours bofore getting him caught. The division of wildlife biologist who is running the now 8 year long mountain lion study in south western colorado, told us he was the oldest tom in the area. He aged him at 9.5 to 10 years old. He said that in the last six years they had caught him 3 times and he was the travelin cougar in the whole study. The study area here is huge, thousands of square miles and he had said this old man had covered it all in about a six year period according to the collars they had placed on him.
