Was in San Antonio since last Thurs. Good to be back home. Had a chance to visit with Bridger Petrini and Tri State Outfitters. He is a great young man and I look forward to hunting with him this fall.
I finally saw my dogs this morning and they sure look and act like they need to be cut loose. Heat or no heat, snakes or no snakes, I plan to be hunting in the morning.
Adios,
Gary

What do you want on your taco in the morning? Just kidding. Hope the dew hangs out a bit for you. Good Luck! tom.

I was raised down south between Devine and Yancey and know that a dew from there to the coast is a common occurance. Since moving to the north end of the Hill Country, find that a dew is extremely rare. We will generally have a dew for a few days following a good rain but that is about it. Another reason that we hunt dogs with a little more sniffer on them. It is extremely dry here now and not sure how many days over 100 degrees in a row. My buddy north of here near Snyder is in worse shape than we are.
My rancher buddy SW of Sheffield is the big winner, .9" since last July 4th!
Adios,
Gary
