Hey everybody I've been thinking about maybe taking a dog or two a month this winter to hunt/train but I wanted to see if there was any interest before I committed. The dog would be hunted on lions maybe a bobcat here and there, hunted AT LEAST three days a week and exercised on the days its not hunted. It would be hunted horseback, on foot and out of the truck/atv. I feed nothing but hi-pro dog food. I would only take TWO dogs a month. I would work on trash-breaking if its needed. The dog would be ran right along side my two good old dogs and one or two others of mine that are solid. I would only take one of the dogs I'm training/hunting on a hunt (unless I'm close to the house and can turn everything in the yard into the tree). It would be hunted bare ground, snow, mud, rocks, basically whatever conditions are like where we are that particular day. The dog could NOT be ill in any way towards dogs or people. They would get lots of socialization with other people/dogs. I'm not going to absolutely guarantee 100% they would see game but the odds would be in their favor. It's called hunting for a reason. Most of the lions caught will be turned loose be I do shoot one on occasion or have a shooter along. I'd give you updates as often as i can and take tons of pictures and if I can learn how to run my camera I'd try to get some video. I would be asking $400 a month per dog 5 months or older NOTHING YOUNGER with a $150 non-refundable deposit. All dogs would HAVE to be up to date on their shots and worming.

Do you hunt 6 days a week?

Like i said in the initial post I would be hunting at least three days a week. More often than not though I will be hunting every single day.
