I am in the market for a new tracking system one that can track all the diferent frequencies. Would like some input on what is the better way to go. I have bean looking at the MT8000 and a lot of people like the AR8000. Jest wondering what some of you guys were using and what you would recommend. Thanks

I switched over to the astro 320, after using it I will never use telematry again.

Before I would put more money in another tracker I would keep my old tracker and buy a GPS. I put a one of my old beep collars on along with my GPS and can't be happier. I hardly ever use the old tracker except if I am walking and my wife is using the GPS in the truck. Do it this way and you won't be sorry. JMO

I already have a Garmin 220 and a 320 with dc30 and dc40 collars love thin on flat ground but I hunt mostly in the mountains with thick cover I am lucky to pick them up a .25 miles away I haft to run a beeper collar with a gps. I am looking for a easy operated scanner box or something that can track all the different frequency's.

Tall order to track all frequencies and easy to operate!
I think Marshall is probably about as easy to use and as accurate as any.

You can't get much more compact than a tracker maxima and you can add a longer range antenna like a yagi if need be. I use one in the mountains of AZ and it works pretty well.

Thanks for you guys input. I think i'm gonna try an MT8000 I found a used one cheep enuff to try it and resale if I don't like it. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

As far as I know, the Tracker Maxima will not track collars over a 220 frequency.

I have a mt8000 and love it, I have some old 150-151 collars along with 217 collars. As of ease you just program all your collars in and just scroll to the one you want to track, I have mine entered by dogs name and just go to the dog you want to track.
