I am from NE Wisconsin and we like most coyote hunters hunt them in the winter as you know it is easier to pin point them because of having snow to find their tracks. We typically only run a couple dogs on them at a time but there really isnt limit on how many you can or can't run at any one time.

How is the condition down where you will be hunting? Snow?
Most guys i now from Indiana use fast sprinting dogs to get from a to b mainly on a site chase,i believe there is no shortage of yotes down there.

Sound to the same the farm country where i live to but i dont start till the snow comes and wait till after our deer hunt at the end of Nov. Just using the most to dog to get it jumped then filen in dog as i can but most of the time only 2 to 4 will be worth keeping down cause of the snow tracking condition due to blowing very dry and powdery to hours later hard as a rock then if the wind dies down sun will welt it dowgiven it a crust.n and create a sheet of ice or rain mist
