Thanks

i used some canadian curs about 20 yrs ago they are a joke. no grit and no stamina. i have a couple jags they are fun for the pickup when stuff crosses the road. i turn my male loose with the hounds and he makes all the races and trees pretty good but on a real tough cat he gets behind. they are good for coon hunting they get throught the briars very good.

I had a nice canadian cur female that was drake Richardson breeding. Very open trailer (but did not bark out of place) that would cold trail some, nice treedog good chop mouth. I just ran her on coons, treed one fisher once.
Drake's breeding I believe leaned more towards the leopard blood and it seems that dogs descending from "Granny" were more open trailers.
I believe a lot of them will be silent on track. Terry

Had one Jagt female, she was the devil wrapped in fur. Killed anything and everything that she could get her lips on. The only thing she didn't try to kill was the horses. Casey
