This is Izzy and I adopted her two months ago. The shelter told me she's a Plott x Weimaraner but I'm not sure how right they were. Of course, I could be wrong. Does she look like she could be a pure Plott? She's currently 6 months old. Thanks in advance!

Sure looks like it could be half plott or a cur cross. Cute little thing anyways. Are you going to hunt it?

looks at least 1/2 plott to me, maybe all plott. don't see any weim there!
might be part leopard cur aka American Leopard Hound. These are in part descended from a Spanish colonial hound sometimes referred to as a Spanish or Cuban bloodhound.

Bet she can tree a coon! Keep her away from those Florida panthers!

correct me if im wrong but the spots on the chest are not characteristic of a pure plott i think

Some pure Plott has more white then other but she Looks 1/2 Plott at least. She has the brindle that would represent a Plott.

you'll never know what she has in her, brindle can come from alot of breeds. she is NOT 100% plott, but it may or may not be in her to an extent.
