garmin collars losing signal in aluminum dog box

hey i was wondering if any of your guys dc 30 or 40 lose signal in the aluminum dog boxs. because mine will lose them and take forever to picl the signal back up when they are out in the woods. also does anyone got any ideas i can do to keep from losing signal. right now i just wat to put the dc collars on them till they need them, but thats kinda a pain in the butt to do cuz tey are twice as hyper when they see me bring them out thanks for the help

mine do that in a wood dog box, but if the dogs are in the box you know where they are lol

Just keep your collars on up in the front seat til you turn out or put the dogs on the strike pad. Nothing worse than dumping the dogs to find out one dog collar isn't being picked up and it takes forever in the canyon sometimes but if you turn it on in the flat land the collar will be tracked into the canyon.

My 30s-40s do that same thing in my box but as soon as I turn them out it picks them back up.. Maybe try running the collars on a shorter update so they pick up signal before they get out there so far??
