Did someone saw in Outdoor Channel on December 3 the program of Jim Shockey's the Professionals about the project of Jaguar in Paraguay with the Biologist Rocky Mcbride on a conservation mission to live capture and study jaguars?

Rocky Mcbride with his hounds capture a female jaguar and they put a gps collar in her. She was about two and half years old. Not problem catching that jaguar. After ten months gatherin data, her territory its was about 108 squares miles.

But in the jaguar two, its a big male. They put six hounds behind him. Its a fresh track and in a very short time. This male jaguar kills three of the dogs at least. For what I see in the program, he kill the dogs in a very short time. They are able to catch two or three dogs and save them. Never did capture that male jaguar.

The hounds looks like they are tree walkers with some running walker in them.

A jaguar is not a typical behavior, but if he learns and get dogs wise. Its a very dangerous animal for the dogs.

I will try to post a paragraph of the Book Tigrero of Sasha Siemmel when he killed a jaguar that was hound wise. But he lost eight of his dogs to that Jaguar.
