males to females

what do u think is a balanced lion population as far as males to females . I have wrote down every lion i have ever treed and the numbers are 16 males 15 females 4 youth . these are bare ground so u dont know what your trailing untill u see them in the tree . my thinking is there should be 2 to 3 times as many females as males .
