I think some hunters will have running walkers, July's [coyote hounds] in Minn. you can go on Vargy's coyote board and ask.

i do not knowing what type of terrain you`ll be running in, but that cross should work well. there`s alot of guys who run coonhounds on yotes and do very well with them.

I run blueticks and they do great. I would run at least 2 together though. It's tough for 1 hound to handle itself against 1 yote let alone if you find a pair. Good luck no matter what you do!

look look look try out a few before you buy beware if it sounds to good to be true it probably is.Be prepared to go through a few before you find what suits you I got into it 2 yrs ago and have had 7 dogs in and out of here some my fault some the dogs but anyway they came and went.If at all possible try to hook up with somone already running yote and learn from them.Yotes get run with about every breed and age of hounds so you may be lloking at running walkers and find a dynamite bluetick or plot hound.I would not be too breed oriented if they can do the job i would run poodles if that is what it took. good luck and happy hunting

I agree 100%. But for the let's think about this for a bit. I want you to get it into your head just how f$&@'n hilarious it would be to see someone roll around a section in a one ton four door 4x4 dually with full boxes to dump a track, stop, get out, dump the doors and 7 poodles pile yippin and tear ass across the field on a hot track. Now that's funny! Seriously though I do agree any dog can be the right one for you just takes time in the field. Good luck!
