I have had alot of people asking me about the Rush pups we got, so I thought I would give you a update. And let me say that NONE of these dogs are mine(the pups are mine) and I am not trying to sell anyone anything. I have nothing to gain from posting about these pups, Nothing at all. Just wanted to pass on what I have seen from them.
Here is a pup I call Lugnut he is a Rush X Tixie cross. He is line bred back to Van Johnson's old dogs top and bottom. He just turned 6 months old and Has started his own lion track and is a track drivin treeing fool. He has not been hunted on any fresh snow. The conditions have been patches of snow, mud, dirt and tracked up snow.
Here are some pictures of him, he is the whiter looking dog or the real light blue dog.

The next is a little male I call Johny Cash he is out of Rush X Physco this is the same deal he is line bred top and bottom back to Van' s old dogs .
He is the little red headed male on the left of the tree the other red headed dog on the tree is also a year old pup out of Rush (Boomer) and Trevor will have to tell you what the female is he is out of. And Lugnut in the bottom right of the picture.
Johny is also starting and running his own track and doing it with style

I sure am impressed with mine, I just wish I had 10 more just like him. Trevor, thanks for bringing that pup up to Jason's the other day. I guess I should of had you send me a pic of him before because knowing Jason he'll probably try and pawn some cameron bluetick off on me instead when I go to pick him up and tell me its a genuine Rush pup.Lol

Hey Cory hope you like that pup. He's a good acting pup. I keep trying to trade Jason and Devin my pups for their pups and all they both say is why would we trade pups that have been hunted for pups that haven't? They aren't the smartest guys around! And I know what you mean about Jason. He's pulled that one my a couple times but gave me black and tans ;-)

Trevor, don't blame me if Rush keeps throwing black n tan pups on the ground. I just figured since they had a long tail you would be happy buddy. Make sure you whack the dew claws, pads and atleast a bit of tail off them pups....then i wont have to lay them up after a few days of chasing elk and deer all over the mtn.

Cory, i think i have put atleast 10 pounds on your pup buddy. Just trying to save you a little dog food money....he's not hurting anything down here. He has a little more leg on him then the other ones out of the litter i have seen but like the other he has a big ole voice on him too.

Devin, i was sure impressed with those pups when you were down last week. Pretty cool to see a young dog that had just seen his first lion the day before start a track in the dirt. Not to mention how beat down they were and still wanting to go. One of these days i might get mine off the chain and see if i can ruin them but dont hold your breath. My luck i'd end up like Cory and my best pup would get a broken leg.

Take care, jason

Top picture is a pup i call Koda. The other dog is named Zeus both are out of (Rush x Peebles). These pups are 8 months old today and they are a pleasure to work with. They trail and tree and show signs of having the making to become great dogs. Jerad Cotten
