Good for him. I can't believe they are giving him such a hard time.. They are already taking away his rights to have paid to travel buy a license and tag and he still can't bring the animal home, it's ridiculous. Why force someone to waste meat i don't understand. Unfortunately i live in this dreadful state of wacky hunting and gun laws. Beautiful but difficult to live in.

Hey London, "S.O.B.s" Another computer tough guy. There are also good folks here in California and our government is screwing us. Immigration policies insure a continued democrat support, but that isn't a fair representation of all of us. We have some good hunters and some good hounds here. Remember this, what you see happening here will eventually be in your state. You should defend your fellow countrymen, not insult them. Especially when I know if we met you would not call me an sob to my face, not twice any way! I love this state and have the stones to stay here and fight for it, even without the support of those who would like to see it "fall off".

that whole thing is a bunch of shit..mountain lion shit if you will. They may not be able to hunt lions in california, and it may be that mans job to enforce it, however if he is an active sportman, he should not be dogged upon for doing something that I feel is his american right. its also B.S. that he cannot return home with his trophy. It may be illegal to harvest lions in cali, but after youve spent hard earned money to legally take a trophy of your choice elsewhere, you should be able to take that trophy home and enjoy it till your dying days.

It's true, C.A has alot of really great, good, down to earth people! Every summer i travel the length of the state, stopping and staying many different places for weeks at a time, from little one horse towns, to L.A, Sac, and Frisco. As a result I've met and seen all types! Met some of my best friends down there, have also met some of the worst people i've ever known. C.A is such a large, diverse place its foolish and impossible to put a label on folks from there! However i completely understand when people from of the more rural northern states, ID,MT, UT,WY, CO, get frustrated from some of the liberal californians moving up, buying real estate and bringing some of their ways and idealogies with them! My hat goes off to the down to earth folks who live there and put up with alot of the crap they must, to continue to remain where they were raised. Without them the state would lose what little balance it has, and would be a terrible waste of some of the most beautiful country ever created.

We just need to hold their head under untill there are no bubbles!!!
