We was out hunting, when we cut this cat coming on to the road, it had been cut already and it was a decent tom, we drove up the road and sure enough a couple of kids where sitting on it, as any houndsmen would, we just kept a driving and down the road another half a mile to a mile and here comes this cat across the road. it was a tom, well about five minutes later here came these kids, there was another road inbetween us and them that the cat couldve crossed, we asked the kids if they had cut the cat coming across the road they said no, so we thought it might be a different cat, so we went and cut another road and sure enough here was the cat coming across the road, we still had about twenty minutes before daylight, so we went back and cut the road that the kids said that he hadn't crossed and sure enough here he came across the road, they missed him, so we went back and got the kids and told them what road to start him on and everything, and went looking for another one, they ended up catching the tom about twenty minutes after turning loose, luckiky the kill season wasn't open, so hes out there still, but i was just wondering if anybody as done this before?

Sounds like you guys are the guys to cut a track in front of! Hell you even cut it down for them and didnt cut any ones throat. That doesn't happen very often my hats off to you gentlemen!!!

I never have done it. In fact I've never hunted near anyone Other hunters. Sounds to me though like that was the gentleman thing to do. I doubt many others would do this, so.... My hats also off to you!

Sounds like you sure helped them out. Hopefully those kids learned something from you that day.

have done similar before but good for you guys to not be cut throat like so many are. Hope more people will be as considerate.
