If you have been training your dogs to run cats any hound will do. But a bobcat is way diffrent than a lion or coon. It will run long distances and move throgh the rocks where most dogs can't follow. They also like to jump tree alot.

Like said above any type of hound can do it, but some are more apt to do well than others. I would recommend getting a dog or pup from someone who has success with the breed you want, on the species you want, in similar terrain that you plan to hunt.
Don't get hung up on certain breeds or strains(blood lines), more importantly is putting the work into it. I mean its ok to have a preference but don't have a blind eye.

I just don't see a whole lot of people using them on bobcats, but I know some do. Just trying to get a good discussion going is all.

Best bobcat/lion hound I've ever raised was a B/T bitch. She was so fast it was hard to train pups behind her. Died like she lived fast.

If you got one of the pups from casey, they'll do just fine. The rest of that litter seems to be just as crazy for bobcats as their parents are. As long as they're hunted and not sitting in a kennel most of the year, they'll catch cats.

We use them with good success, tree em and in our area put a lot in rock piles. A friend
of mine in Wi dose well. Our dogs are the old fashion type and are extreme track drivers snow, dirt or mud but any one who has hunted bobs know, they are not easy but the most rewarding.
