Has anyone tried the Cabelas' hiking boot called the "Perfekt Hiker " by Meindl ?

I have a pair of meindel's, I don't know what style. but they have good ankle support but the souls are hard as rock.

I have these same boots, they are great for hiking, but don't try to drive in them, stiff as a rock.
