Just outta pure curiousity, has anyone who has talked to California congressmen asked if the bill could possibly infringe on their 9th Amendment Constitutional rights? The 9th Amendment addresses the unenumerated rights or a persons rights not specifically listed in the Constitution to include the rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. In my opinion, the bill could be argued using this amendment. If you look at the supreme court history, many cases have been overturned due to this amendment. Just some food for thought.

cowboy, i have already mentioned this in one of the many posts. there is over 25 pages i believe. and i am sure that all that have posted have good intentions. but ya know they say the road to hell is paved with good intentions. one of my family members has thown 100 bucks at their mess with hopes it would stick to the wall. he told them to keep the hat or shirt or what ever they were giving as an incentive to join the fight, so they would have all of the money for the battle. i have been having a wait and see attitude before i throw anymore at it. but i can tell you one thing if they don't get all there shit in one bag they will be on the outside lookin in. take care, Willy

I hear ya there man. I've just been going through some old law books and records from when I was in college for a criminal justice degree. It just irks me though cuz now I'm in the military and suppose to be fighting for the freedoms of the US and those freedoms keep getting trampled on by people who just don't agree with it. It's really discouraging to think about.

IT HAS COME TO MY ATTENTION THAT CALIFORNIA HOUNDS MEN AND WOMEN COULD NOT FIND THE TIME TO CONTACT THE WISCONSIN BEAR HUNTERS ASSOCIATION. AFTER THEY HAVE OFFERED TO HELP ON A WORLD WIDE FORUM, IN THEIR FIGHT ABOUT LOSING THEIR BEAR AND BOBCAT HUNTING WITH HOUNDS. THE ORIGIN OF THIS TOPIC IS CURIOUS. I FOR ONE AM CURIOUS IF THEY ARE GOING TO BE LIKE THE MAJORITY OF THE STATE AND RUN IT INTO BANKRUPTCY AND EXPECT A HAND OUT FROM THE REST OF THE COUNTRY!!! It is frustrating for most of use hound hunters here we just hope CHC and the other lobbyist that are working on are behalf are up for the fight. The sad thing is they have a plane that they don't want any one to know about because the anti's may get wind of it, so we all feel left a little in the dark. It's getting very very frustrating out here just want to thank every one for there support of all types. A lot of hound hunters are looking for other places to live as we speak, it was bad way before this, are fish and game have ben targeting use for years here in CA some we brought on are selves other times it has ben plane old profiling. i sure do feel for you guys especially not knowing what is going on. Here in Wisconsin, the WBHA sends out a massive email alert letting the members know what is going on. a lot of these anti hound hunting bills get shot down by our lobbyists before they even become a bill to be heard. I hope this sends a message to other states to get moving with associations to have something in place before the HSUS comes for your state because they will.
