anyone had a dogs achilles tendon cut into?

i had this happen to my best dog and wanted to hear from anyone that has had it happen to see how it turned out

i had a dog rip his apart in dec . the vet put it back together and it has held up. cost 1040.00 .

had a javalina cut over half way thru on an older dog, didn't seem to affect her long term but took some time, she also had some hamstring muscles cut thru that also healed up
