Biggest live coon I ever seen belonged too Carter & Nancy Wallace of the Dover Tn. area/he was a big pet an his picture apeared I believe in the Stewart houston times newspaper. This was back in the lateer 90`s. He weighed 78 or 87 lbs i cant remember exactly but he was a real TOAD !Nancy gave the pet coon to some guy in Dover who had him awhile longer/nancy died bless her hart and then the coon died next. Carter Wallace her husband moved too Granitt City I understand in oh. or ky I`m not just sure were Grannitt City is located haven`t seen him sence 92 !

Last year the dogs caught one in a hole that weighed 46lbs. Once the dogs dug that big ole bore out the fight was on in a creek. Needless to say it was a good thing there were five dogs there because that coon was all they could handle. It was really a joy carrying that thing a quarter mile back to the pickups soaking wet. But it was a good memory and a fun story to tell.
