Derek.. Hope you found it?? I didn't catch your post until now..

Jim.. Me and Laura really enjoyed that event... we thanked Jonny but you and the others that were judging really did a fantastic job.. we don't do much Field trials but the couple that we have gone to.. That one was definately 1st class. You guys really worked hard to make it nice for everyone.

Really enjoyed talking to you inbetween the Heats.

Thanks Buddy, glad you and Laura got to come and it was very nice of you guys to give the helpers a shirt, they were still talking about that Sun. We had 94 dogs in the feild trial and alot in the bear drag and treeing contest Sat. for those that didn't make it if there's a event in your area and you can make you should really try and get there. Try to support each other and you also get to visit with folks ( young and old) from different areas. Thanks again to everyone that came !!

Jim.. that's kinda how we felt.. We got tired of the the comp with dogs a while ago and just started hunting.. I really don't enjoy mixing Comp, with Hunting.. and getting into the My dogs better than your dog crap...It was really nice, we had a good time. and that one sure didn't feel like a competition..

But like you said.. No reason we can't show up to support things and help out. we're definately going to attempt to make more of a showing this year to support some of these clubs and those who put it all together for everyone

And I met some really good folks.. some from this board, and some not from this board.. We really did enjoy the hell out of meeting new faces.

I was hoping someone else would answer your question.

My family and I would also like to thank everyone at Johnny's field trial. It was a great time - perfect weather - and some of the nicest people I've ever met. Hope there are more to come.
It was worth the five hour drive!
