I run quick track 50 box, i do this cause i dont ever have to worry about the battery running out on me for any reason and if it does I change it and keep going. to me the only downside to a wildlife box is you have to charge them( internal battery) I do run Wildlife magnum collars, I think they are good sturdy reliable collars and again you can change your own battery and not have to wait for your collar to come back in the mail, they do well at long ranges. I would buy direct from wildlife. Lance

I like the Wildlife 3190 collars. To me they are the best I've used and you can change the battery without sending it back. Great distance and durability. But for the box it's hard to beat the Magnum Telemetry MT-8000. To me it is by far the best buy for the money.

If you already are running gps i would suggest that you get some of the smaller lightweight collars that you can find and if you can find some with changeable batteries that would be better IMO.
