Got culls?
If their temperaments are good but they just aren't making it in the woods and you don't want to give them the 22 pill, try listing them on the coonhound rescue network's facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Coonhound ... 6814742904
The coonhound rescue network on facebook page is a listing of hounds needing new homes. Most of the audience is looking for hounds that will be pets. Its free. Most of the hounds there are in shelters or in foster homes run by rescue groups, but anyone on facebook can list a hound there. Accordingly, some people list dogs that are mixes or not hounds at all, but some are pretty nice purebreds. You might even find a good prospect for a hunter listed, although most of the people listing (not all, but most shelters and rescue groups)won't place a dog without neutering/spaying and requiring that it live indoors.
check it out.
