THE STATE OF NEVADA IS UNDER ATTACK!!!
The houndsmen of nevada need ur help! The state of California banded all hound hunting and are now at Nevada's front door. If we can not stop them here you're state will be next on the list. We all know they move slow so by the time we realize what they are doing its to late to fight it. Maybe we can get a jump start on the ball to try and stop this. We just found out there goal is to try in stop hunting bears with hounds in Nevada and if they can get that on they will go after cougar and bobcat next. We need your point of view and what you think and believe and what hound hunting means to you. Such as do you want to be able to teach your children or are you're hounds a hunting partner what is means to hunt with them is it a historical factor etc. etc. etc. The second meeting on this is held in Reno Nevada this saturday. I intend to take what is written to the meeting with me to state what houndsmen think and/or even just someone who hunts even if you don't hunt with hounds. Your opinions will be very helpful so please do not pass this up or you may be where we are all at one day soon.

to me the subject of hound hunting is very touchy. We are Americans and we are supposed to be about American tradition and ethnics. Well hound hunting came to America yrs ago and doing away with it is doing away with a way of life, and a good one at that. They say a mature cougar will kill a deer a week for its food, if your not doing the math that's 52 deer a year. Biologist also say that the deer these cats go after is the mature bucks, because it beds down by itself and roams by itself, and as a very avid deer hunter these are the deer i am looking for as are other deer hunters. As for the doe and younger bucks they stick together and have a safety in numbers. We need to help carry on this tradition, and keep our hunting alive. thanks for your time.

Sometimes it becomes inconvenient in case of foxes to hunt around. I faced music for hunting with foxes. City cops accused me of harming animal for undefined reason.

I wanted to update everyone on the Nevada problem. NDOW game commision made a mitake on the posting of the meeting. So it isrescheduling rescheduled for there meeting in Febuary some of the houndsmen think they should give up hounds for the Bear hunt so it wont affect lion hunting. They have not delt with the radical idiots before and do not relize thatonce they get the door open they will go one to the next thing and on and on until they stop all hunting period. Most of them are PETA types and do not eat meat and do not think we should eather. They said at the last meeting that they spoke for the majorty of the people and theyy belive this crap. Please support us how ever you can because they will not stop. This will move from state to state if it does not get stoped. We all need to speak up and not let them steamroll hunting with hounds or hunting of any type will be next.

The one good thing that I think Nevada has going for it is there aren't NEARLY as many dumb ass, uneducated tree huggers compared to Cali.

BUT

You folks in Nevada need to start letting people know, that citizen Houndsmen are the way to go and that if they ban hunting with dogs, the ONLY catch and release hunting, that government hunter will come in and kill every lion, cub, sow or boar they can under the legal protection of the USDA. Spread the word that this is far more inhumane than sport hunters who can selectively choose which animal they want to kill or not.

Use the same emotions and demagoguery AGAINST them. PETA and Anti's use emotion to get support, do this in reverse that sport hunters ARE the humane choice, not Gov. hunters.

You must sway public opinion as quick as possible. Write to your editors of the local papers, talk to your neighbors, sporting good supply stores. Place homemade flyers on windshields at malls and large parking lots.

This isn't very difficult, just look at how grassroot movements spread and grow and do the same thing.

Cali gets screwed by the big citys. Nevada will too, Vegas, Reno, and Tahoe area will screw you in a heart beat.

Never give an inch Cali gave up Spring training season, GPS, Dog control zones, No more then 1 dog during deer season, no more then 3 dogs on hogs. And Cali still got screwd

The list goes on and on Dont give up your bear season The anti crowd will not give up till they take every thing.
