Coyote Hound Training

Hi, I have a 2 year old walker coonhound that I woud like to run on coyotes. I would like to know how to train him to hunt them. Like should I kill one and then let him see it or just buy a scent and make a track for him to run on? So, whats the best thing to do? People say to run them with experienced hounds. Should I do that or train him to run on his own? Thanks....
