Went scouting the week before, talked to others out doing the same thing. We decided after using the winches way to much, and not getting more than 1/2 mile out of the bottoms to save our fuel. Game is down, wolves are down, no way to get to the dogs quick, even if we cut one in the bottom, so I'll wait it out.

tylers dad I think you have done better than most so far. The snow is a killer this year. How much snow do you have down your way.

Close by we don't have any snow but I have to climb to get to the forest land for hunting. Where I usually hunt is still snowed in. Most roads are still closed because of snow.

My wife and I were turkey hunting on Saturday and when we walked back to the truck, there were bear tracks on top of our tracks in the snow. I wanted to run him but I was trying to help my wife get her turkey so maybe next time. She got her first bird on Sunday morning though!

I have now heard about it and I guess it was a brown or a cinnamon. They didn't shoot it but someone that was along did.
