We've had a few good runners this year. I like the kind that actually try to get away. The ones that are caught within minutes aint too exciting. Good job again.

Did you ever weigh one? A 40# yote up here is really big, don't see them very often. I think the wolves chase them around enough they stay in shape...lol

Here in central IL ours average bout 2 pounds less than your eastern coyotes.

I think maybe the farm country yotes get a bit bigger with better food sources. Our woods yotes probably average in the mid 20"s.

Wow..thats a good one!! I hope this rain were getting right now turns to snow before it gets to ya...puts a damper on our running for a while...

We have killed 5 so far. This winter the smallest was 37lbs the biggest 53lbs. All the yotes here seem to be big. We. Have killed them up to. 60lbs. We. Are in ontario

Andrew...Do you think they get big because of heavy snow(don't know what your snow fall is) or is it a very good food source? In the gene's?
