WHY DID IGF&W CUT THERE KILL AND TRAP QUOTE IN HALF IN THE PANHANDLE OF IDAHO? matter of fact they cut the who state by almost half. We need to kill as many as possible till there is a managable amount.

My thaughts.

I am moving to the spokane / coeur d A'lene area and am cautious of even hunting in Idaho , but hunting cats is what I crave. In order to hunt cats have to hunt Idaho. But never hunted around wolves. Just have been reading alot of threads on the problems you all are having.

when did this take place. this year there is no quota in the panhandle and a very long season

I found it out on the Idaho Game Fish Site it gave 2013 hunting quotas

Did anyone ever find out the reasoning to this? I searched the website but never saw any mention of it except where the quota total are located.

i was just on the website been over 40 killed in the panhandle this year so far and season is open till the end of march

i live in Coeur d'Alene ID and you can shoot 5 and trap 10 but in order to legally trap them you have to go to a fish and game class on setting snares basically they dont want you snaring elk and deer.
