As i have grown up and met alot of cat hunters i have come to the conclusion they are for the most part shady at best. Seems like they are the type of people that say things that are half true or contridicting . They like it when your dogs run trash or make mistakes . Most of them think they know something you dont, and act like it. They like to play head games with you .
For example tonight, i told warner i was watching tv when in fact i was hunting his honey hole. I even drove right passed his house and hunted his dads ranch. while i was doing this i called him and told him i heard a guy had trapped a 37 lb tom right next to his honey hole and to not worry about catching that big tom he had ran a week earlier. So now you know your big tom is still traveling around and i was messing with you.

Oh by the way, Dad gave all his Hounds to Dewey as he felt really sorry for him after hearing his "Tales of Woe" about yall's West Coast Hounds.

Dewey is trying to charter a plane to haul all 22 home....he might need some donations to help with the Charter.

Sure are some shady tricksters, cat hunters. Late this cat season I hunted with JC/s nice pack of cat hounds. Enjoyed listening as a couple very racey looking females with high pitched screaming voices led the pack, making short work of a cat race, in an area that had been slashed, located and had the bobcat. Only problem, he promised to give me one of them, changed his mind. Even after I had fell down a couple times in that slash and bruised both shins. Thanks for the hunt JC. Al

Carry i dont know whats going on , Dewey called me about an hour ago and said he was bringing 22 clay hounds home and want to trade them for 1 of me and warners pups . Just a heads up . lol

Ever since i got back from the cat hunters gathering i have wanted to go back down and do some hunting with them 2 backwoods legends by the names of JC and John. History may soon reveal that the original backwoods legend Mr. Al Baldwin to be the last guy to ever get to hunt with one of them. Im starting to get the feeling that there is a good ol fashioned feud in the makings. The fact that they are sneaking around hunting each others "honey holes" then Rubbing it in the others nose on the WWW. Then you throw in the fact that they are breeding dogs together and one of em is already having dogs shipped from the S.E. to trade for the dogs mentioned above. Then one of them ends up with a superstar out of their breeding. I can see lots of rolling around in yards coming ahead. I sure hope they can get through all this recent success without a full blown feud on their hands. In the mean time Al i would be careful about hunting with them. This site could probably go on without their stories but it would be hard to go on without yours!!!!!!! Just be ready to pick up the pieces when they get done "Trickstering" one another. May be some fine dogs to gather up.

I love giving jon a hard time it motivates him. Mark when are u going to come down and run a coyote with us. Willie, Mr baldwin just might be the trickster when it comes to that statement. When i was writing the shady trickster part of this i couldnt help but think of Loyd Basey. He always had above average catdogs and sold quite a few to guys on this sight . But he was as tricky as they came. I remeber him making cougar scrapes at coyote crossings . Just setting a trap for other hunters to sick there dogs on a coyote.
