Let me know what you think of the video...
Well, since you asked....I don't think that showing a half dead lion chewing on a dog or vice versa is cool to post on a public forum OR good for the sport of hound hunting OR a very smart thing to do as a dog owner..... but thats just my opinion.

I enjoyed the video and for me its all about the dogs so I was a little surprised how it all ended up when your lion hit the ground with some of the dogs not tied up but hey I've been their when I forgot a leash or two. Good looking dogs and pretty country. Congrads on your hunt.

FYI, I tie all my veteren dogs up when we shoot, I leave the pups untied so that they get to tangle with the cat. pups under a year old that get in a scuffle like that usually come out of it with a little respect for distance, and a genuine hatred for cats. none of those dogs got hurt and the cat was dead in seconds. like it or hate it, that's my way of making pups fire up.

I like the video, cool to see the dogs work. I like ya'll emphasizing it is more than just letting dogs go and sitting on a tail gate, good scenes of getting out and walking.
However, an anti can easily take that one scene and run with it. Whether no dogs were hurt or the cat was dead in seconds, does not matter. An anti sees what they see and that is all they need to put another blow into hound hunting.
Just a scene/action that doesn't need to be done in an overall well made video.
Just my opinion, take it or leave it. Not trying to start anything.

Hey ivideowildlife,
Is that a jagd terrier in the last video? Here is a photo of my Jagd treeing a lion w/my black & tan.
I actually have tracking collars that fit!
Great videos!

back door bear dogger is probably laying on a couch with his legs crossed putting on lipstick right now. from the sounds of his post you would think he's stalking me????? creepy. I didn't make this video, I didn't edit this video and I damned sure didn't put this video on b g h. I simply explained why the dogs were not tied back. everyone has their way of training dogs, sorry if mine offends you. no dogs were injured on this hunt, and frankly I have been doing it that way for alot of years with no injury. I had complete faith that kelly would make a fatal shot and he did. the end.

Felt like I did my best to edit the video to show the whole hunt just as if the viewer was along with on the hunt.
I guess what you see is what you get with me. I don't try to hide much and I believe in what I do and who I am.
I don't try to candy coat much and apparently that is too much for some people.
I did the video to showcase my hunt and also showcase a great houndsman and his quality dogs! Jared has the upmost respect and cares for his hounds greatly (Spending all night sometimes getting dogs back to the truck) with no sleep.
Don't be scared of what you love to do guys!!
