I got my 8mo old bluetick pup, and Ive been wanting to register him, cause the lady I bought him from didnt, And I was wondering what paperwork I'd need and what club I could get him registered to?
I know I can get his sires paper work has he was purebred, and the dam was "purebred" too, but the paperwork has been "lost". So im wondering what I have to work with.
Either way registered or not, the pups going to hunt, I was just hoping to get him registered so if I decide to stud him, then he'd have a bit more credibility.
Thanks

If you're hoping for UKC registration, you need to get in touch with BBOA to see what they require for single registration.

UKC will update the registration IF the owner of the sire and dam will sign a stud Certificate.. then you will have to send in the necessary fees and such. it can be done until the dog is 1 year old.. after that it is via single registration.. my advise is get it done NOW... get on the UKC site and get the info needed to update.
I helped Rudy Matson get that done a few years ago and it was pretty straight forward.
