Hunting with Bow

Just a general question.
How many of you or have guided people that have taken game with the bow when the game was on the ground. AKA Bear caught on the ground or a lion bayed up etc.
I think a bear shot on the ground with a bow would be the ULTIMATE experience but the risks to the dog seem so high. For one the animal won't die as quick (usually) as with a gun so opens up more chance for dog injury, even on a lethal hit. Also, a sharp broadhead in the animal can not be safe for hounds. Although, maybe the dogs don't rush in since they don't hear the "gun shot"?
Anywho, just wondering peoples experiences. Interesting to hear peoples stories and see any pictures of game taken with bow too!
