I am new at this. This is my first post on this forum. I don't have the Facebooks and I am rarely on this computer.

I am looking for information about Leon Cox's old hound dogs and Milt Holt's old bloodlines. Apparently these hounds were sold to David Welsh and Jerry Hughes??? I have visited with Hal Mecham and others about these bloodlines. I believe Hal's bloodlines as well as Jeff Allen's old bloodlines go back to these old hunters' hounds. Does anyone else have this old blood around? How close to the Joker dog? What do they know about this/these dog(s) and/or bloodline? Good/Bad?

Also looking to get a phone number for David Welsh or one his relatives, have some specific questions for him about Leon Cox's Joker dog and a dog named Luke that David Welsh reportedly owned. Any info would be great.

Send a message to Festus on this forum he is related to these guys and also knows a lot about what left out there of the old Joker line. Trust me they were among the very best!

I was shown an old post (from several years back) that you and "Festus" posted back and forth about this bloodline. It seems you know a lot about the Jeff Allen bloodline. Call Leon and ask him I'm sure he would tell you what you want to know he still runs dogs! Clint,McLain and Stan mechams also bred dogs back and forth with Leon if I'm not mistaken!

Aaron, we still have a couple pups from our last cross. The dad is from Clint and would make a great addition to your dogs. Offer still stands to ship one to ya.

Thanks puma guy. I texted Cody about those pups. I really want one and may take you up on your offer. There is no doubt they will be good ones. My problem is that I am trying to thin down a little and already have five pups I am trying to get started. Hope you had a good turkey day.

We still have two female pups left if anyone is interested in some quick starting pups from lines that catch game. The pups are between 11 and 12 weeks old now. This cross wasn't made to just sell pups. We wanted one for our selves to keep and like it goes we ended up with 8.
