Uncle Jimmy Owens legendary lion hunter who made a lot of history in the rim country of Arizona finally gets a fitting grave marker.

Odd and maybe because I have read so much about him over the years but everytime I am up high in that rim country,I get the sense that his presence is still around. Many of those giant trees that are still up there were there when Uncle Jimmy's hounds made the canyons roar when they were hot on the trail of Mr. Longtail.

Neat story, Goodknight ranch is just up the road, he started the JA and it's still there a rugged ,beautiful place.
While you were up there in those Yellow Jack pines, did you ever hear the Devil squalling about the knots in his tail?

Robin.

I am not sure but it just could be they were cremated in a branding fire and their ashes were spread out between the Kentucky Bar and the depot house on Whiskey Row. LOL!
