Well today we headed out to find one measly bait hit. We tried it and it turned up sour. I think we took the back track then got it sorta lined out and just plain lost it. We re-checked baits and sure enough the last bait was hit. It was a red hot hit and we dogged it up good. They roared it for an hour or so before we treed it oh a good eight feet of the ground in a pine tree. Nice 250 lbs. It seems for some reason lateely, the bigger bears here in Wisconsin have been treeing easier. Will try to get some pictures soon. Was nice for the young pups to see a bear in such a short tree. Anyone else round here having any luck?

I'm from Utah, but I went there a couple years back and we didn't have the luck you were talking about. I did, however, get to walk through a lot of swamps and watch running bears cross lots of roads. . .
