What a hound can do.

Everyone has heard of stories about dogs that have done this or done that to the amazement of all. I would like to start a discussion on creating the parameters of the potential of a dog. I would like to know what the potential of a hound is. Give some stories about dogs even if they are just hearsay so that the rest of us can have something to strive for even if it possible with only one hound in a billion and one trainer in trillion and all that other statistical nonsense. I’ll start:
1. Once I heard of a guy what had a pack of dogs that would open on a track but wouldn’tleave out until the houndsman told them they could go.
2. I saw a hound that would lean back when yoked to another dog and wouldn’t leave out until unyoked.
3. Ben Lilly told a story that he TOLD a dog to backtrack the owner to find his watch.
4. A houndsman once told me he had a pack when younger that would stretch any bear under 150 lbs. that they caught on the ground.
