Looking at buying a couple tuff skin antennas for my dc40s...wondering what people think of them? How much better is the range? I can usually only get about 1 mile with the stock antennas on a good day, I'd like to get more. Looking especially for guys who use them in the wooded midwest (mi, wi, mn) so I can get an idea of how they work in similar terrain. thanks

The stock antennas really suck and the tuff skins are way better but kind of big and bulky if u buy yourself some stainless braided wire( coated works great) and find some small eyes u can solder them on and make your own that aren't so big and bulky I have them on all my collars and they work way better then Stock my country is steap and cut up and still have no problems
