What are some habits you guys have observed out in the woods while chasing or just watching game you hunt? I would like to hear some of your beliefs or facts about the critters you and I chase. This time of year while running cats I had made up my mind that cats move whenever they want. Jump them in beds in the day and well past the dark. And seems like after you catch one whether its a lion or bobcat, it throws their usual loop off a bit and they will cross out of the area you chased them through within a day or two in the opposite direction. ? Might not even be the same cats i dont know. Bears; Ive treed bears at night that would walk and bay in the day. Any of you timed these animals return to one point of their usual crossings? Bobs i would say a week or two. Lion a month or 6 weeks. Bears, uhhh every couple days. ? Been hard to make my mind up on these facts. Also what breed is best for this game? Lol jk!!!

No idea how long it takes cats to cross back through, lot of things can probly affect that, hunting being one of em. If they are caught by dogs it might throw them off and they may avoid that area for awhile or all together, or if they've been ran a lot they might not care. I know where a lot of cats usually cross but have never been able to time them on when they will cross again but I probly don't cat hunt enough to pattern em that way anyways. Bears I know where they usually cross certain roads but I'm with you it's probly every couple of days if not a every day occurrence. Kind of the same as cats there though I just know where a lot typically cross or the areas they are in, depending on the time of the year, and hunt those areas waiting for my trashy ass dogs to strike them...or a coyote
