Its been years since I hunted around Hounds. I hunted with a Friend who is dead now but he competed in Coon hunting contests and hunted with only one dog, Sam a Plott Hound.
Can you successfully hunt Bobcats with just one Dog?
Waldo won a lot of Coon hunting tournaments with one dog, but that was coon.
What about Lion.............................with one Dog?
