185 views on this thread, I hope every one has signed this petition. We need to help this cause all we can! B.C. is quickly evolving like many States in the lower 48 and the Canadian Conservation Officers are killing more Grizzly Bears in the areas that once allocated tags or had sport hunting Seasons. Not only do they need management, but it needs to be in balance and right now, it is becoming any thing but! I have been very fortunate to travel and hunt with Doug on many occasions and can vouch for the need to have seasons and harvesting. When you see more Grizzly Bears than Moose? You have a problem! The picture below is that of a Big Old Boar Grizzly Bear. This location was found during Breeding Season last June. The smaller divots are the back hind legs of the Boar, and the wallow? That is where the boar pounded (bred) the sow. When you see something so amazing like this, you got to share it. When you step away from the safety of a truck to capture a picture like this? You just want to keep looking over your shoulders!
United we stand!
Thanks!

thanks Mike,
Mike has spent a great deal of time hunting in BC in my area and knows what we are facing with one of the largest Canadian anti bear hunting groups buying up private land all around me.
It only takes a minute to sign the petition. I hope all of you have taken the time.

We are in the same boat as our Canadian friends. Take some time to educate yourself about an organization dedicate to halting all of our hunting, all around the globe. NCC or better knows as Natures Conservancy is buying up land and restricting any form of access. Doug's hounds enter these grounds, he must wait for them to come out, he is not even allowed to step one foot on the ownership to simply recover his hounds...Now these same activist claim to be buying our land for expanding habitat and doing good things for wildlife management and Conservation? I investigated the welcome hunters right here in Oregon, propaganda signs and was told by NCC personnel, you can hunt on the grounds, all you must do is donate in the form of monetary sums of money (to aid in cutting your own throat) or labor and time volunteering.... Our Oregon Department of Fish and wildlife endorses these radicals and that should tell you something! Next time you are out on the Izee road leaving Prineville, heading east towards Paulina, look to the North along the highway and read the co-op signs (yellow colored diamond shaped placards supplied by ODFW) plastered all along the highway purchased with sport hunter dollars, dollars that come direct from our sport hunter license and tag fees and tell me one more time how our own Game Department likes you, your hounds, your hunting and your guns! When you get beyond the rhetoric induced by ODFW you will see why I support all efforts in all States and Provinces and have nothing but contempt for our Fish Commission! Sometimes you don't need to fire a single shot to win a war!

I have said this before and will again. Move some Grizzly Bears, Wolves, Black Bears and Lions, into Stanley park, Central Park, maybe downtown LA, to roam free and eat and do as they wish. They did roam there long before even the First Nations. See how the URBANITES deal with them then. The only place they are extinct from is the urban sprawl.
Who is against the Grizzly Hunt? URBANITES, where most of the signatures are from on any petition.
In the Kootenay's here, the Fish and Game branch kill more Grizzlies in Fernie, Elkford and Sparwood, than are killed while hunting. But then they say their aren't enough Grizz left for the Limited Entry Hunting Draw. Is something F'ed up with this system or what.

Bull pine this is what the public needs to hear. The people fighting to save the bears are paying through their tax dollars for these bears to get killed. Much like, Cal, Or, and Wash!

I lived in Alexis Creek from 93-95. Hunted on Potato Mtn. and watched three Grizz feeding on a muley deer carcass that they had run a hunter off of. Lion hunted all around the area, but really liked hunting out by Kings place. Would love to come back again one day.
