What do you guys or gals know about this breed ? Where did it start ? Size, colors, treeing style, and what they are bred for (what they are run on) ?

I have a male fixed plott bought him as a 5 month pup from a guy in day Oregon. I got him fixed wish I didn't now moving to Idaho got my house on the market. This dog is showing lot o potential. Will be making another trip to Idaho next thursday willing to deliver a dog that way.
