Brett Vaughn posted a link in another thread to the audio tapes produced by Dale himself before he passed away. In turn, I posted an old photo given to me by one of two guys that hunted a few years in Mexico with the Lee Brothers and made mention of the gourd Jaguar call sparking the interest of one of the BGH board members, Mr. Don Stuckey...Or know as Come-Hunt to most. I'm in the process of getting photos of the original gourd call to Don to see about making a replica...If any one can pull this off, Don can. I will update the board once I have photos in hand..
Next, I spoke to George Pavey today and if you all remember a few years back, George wanted to write a book about the time spent hunting Jaguar in Mexico and lions in Arizona with the Lee's and not knowing how to go about publishing a book, that fell through. George however made several audio tapes and was looking to get these stories out to interested houndsmen, instead of mass producing the audio, I thought it would be great to make a story available to the subscribers in every issue of Houndsmen Magazine...I will see if Buddy W. will accept the transcripts and print them in the new magazine for all to enjoy.... George reassured me, he has enough content for many months to come.....Beyond a doubt an interesting era of hound hunting unequalled any place on earth that needs to be shared before all is lost.
