Man I'll tell ya what it's too hot to whipe my own butt, I had three differant readings today and they all said 112 degree's, it only dropped to 89 last night. Any body doin anything or is it too hot every were? I wanted to try a new place I just got but I'm to worried about strokein out my dogs, if they started anything after 8am I think I'd be in some trouble. And I have a dog here that got a whole pope in him a few weeks ago, and he swelled up in the neck real bad, I mean the size of a soft ball, I lance it every other day and have him on antibiotics. But when I lance it all that drains is blood, it acts like a big blood blister, not an infection. Any body ever had this? And if so what did ya do to help it go away. I've never had one quite like this. I've had'em get pokes and swell up kinda like a boil and then drain them but it was puss and blood, this is straight blood, I thought maybe he knocked a hole inthe aurtery in his neck, but I think he'd have bled out even with just a pin hole. I drained it last night and I bet there was a quart of blood came out of it.

It has been very hot here also. I hunted last week: turned out at 6:30am and had 3 hogs on the ground by 7:45 and we were already on the verge of strokin dogs.

It is a dangerous time of year to be hunting..........be carefull

Longshot,

Seems to me your getting a little careless there, admitting you went hunting and caught some hogs, when you didn't didn't share the pics with us. :)

Seriously, you should come show me how its done by the big boys. I turned out this morning at 5:30, hunted till about 9:00, and only got one. I probably could have hunted till about 11:00, but I already had one dog cut pretty bad, and another was to sore footed to keep going, so I decided to call it a day.
