Anyone have any good ideas for marking your collars on the factory straps? Just got another DC50 and wanted to mark it apart. Did the dayglow route on the 30s but figured it could start some new discussion while we wait for bear season.

Order some universals from buddy. Same deal as the day glows for 30s. They slip right on though super easy.

I've always used a soldering iron (electric) to number our collars on the main unit. It may work on the collar strap but you'd have to be carefull. Try a test run.

I use small cattle ear tags. They are cheap and the tool makes them easy to apply. Then you can write the dogs name on it also. Just punch through an existing hole

I use different color and/or different numbers of small zipties. On the 30's and 40's they can help hold the antenna too.

Each dog I own has a set color, from ID collar, Telemetry, and now the TT-10s. There are too many colors of collar straps out there to not make it easy to pick a color lol. Especially now since they have added patterns to the mix. IMO the Reflective straps are the way to go, even if they look like they are worn out, those stripes get hit with a headlight and it lights up big time.
