Ive been hog hunting for about 5 years, and I'm looking for big game bred hound for hog hunting, I run black mouth curs, jagd, and one plott but I'm looking for big game bred hound (walker preferably but doesn't matter) to hunt just cuz I like listening to a hound and to cross over some yella females, but I'm looking for a hound that has lots of speed, flat out just running speed, and more importantly track speed, not really looking for anything cold nosed, just a tight gutted, long legged dog, with bottom(I know it's more about the individual dog than the bloodline) I'm just trying to find a place to start looking, if you know of anyone who runs dogs like this or a specific bloodline that has these traits, if you could comment please, i live in muskogee, oklahoma, thanks in advance.

I'm sure everyone will have their own opinions, but the fastest dog i have and ever had is a mike kemp dog from three bear kennels.

Where is he located? I don't have any experience with big game bred walkers been quite a few neosho river walkers and a few other coon hounds. Have you been around any Finley river bred dogs?.... Also I've heard about a grogan (spl?) bloodline that's supposed to be pretty good

In your country you should be able to find some Trigg or July blood to put a lot of speed in your dogs? The grittiest fast blood is the hudspeth dogs but I don't know where to get anymore?I have seen them strech a yote fast and kill a lion on the ground.

What's a July or trig like? Are they closer to a running walker or tw? I've heard of people trying running walkers but can't get them to bay,

I am currently running a 2nd generation Mike Kemp dog and that dog can't come close to keeping up with my Loose Bruce walker blood. I have heard the three bear dogs are supposedly very fast, the dog I am running for a friend of mine may just be a fluke. She is the result of a litter from the breeding of 2 dogs directly from Kemp.

He catches lots of hogs.
