Theres better place's to buy dog food. Also on your caliber look in the ingredients the bag I saw had, Animal Bi-Product Meal. Animal Bi-Product = Crap, more then likely poultry.

Meat and Bone meal usually covers meat scraps and carcuse's, hearts, livers, lungs, kidneys and such, intestines can also be labeled Bi-Product meal. Just putting it out there.

Lance not trying to start any beef but I always fed diamond hi energy and it is an awesome dog food . My dogs did great on it . I recently tried this calibur that's made with pork and I will stick with it . It's not crap . My dogs are doing really good in fact I feed less of it than the diamond or lightning that I have fed and its cheaper. If I was to categorise it with others that I have fed then I would say its as good if not better than diamond, lightning, red flannel, black gold, pzazz and probably more (some people say those are junk they must be rich) . I have fed all these and I am very happy with the calibur . A person reads a label and judges it, its like buying a pup because of what the papers say instead of it being proven. Also I will bet all the dog food out there has things in it or not in it that it says or just find a better name for the product. For me it works it's awesome and I like it . Very little clean up and the dogs get a good fat reserve built up also.

Ha, no beef here, When he first got that stuff a year or so ago a friend got a bag. we had both bought from him before (Lightning/Joy). We looked it over and tried it on 3 of his dogs 1 wouldn't eat it the others got scruffy by the end of the one bag. If it's working for you great, good luck with it. I have a hard time with the way he does things but I won't start an internet smear campaign. One question, you mentioned Pzzaz? Did you buy it out here and who from?

I tried pzazz 10 years ago in Minnesota good food no complaints except price and it was high back then at 27 dollars a bag. I gotta mention this one bag of anything will not give you full results . Dogs take a little time to adjust to different diet. I bought 200 lbs of that calibur I switched from diamond to lightning (diamond is way better than lightning) then to calibur they didn't take to it right off but once they got through a week or so of it they took to it real good and it makes my brindle dogs shiny healthy and full of energy . Its the same price as old roy but 10 x better and half the price of diamond. So for the price and what it does for the dogs is unbeatable.Imo I get the same results out of it as I did diamond. I feed calibur value pack in plain white bag with red label 24/20 . Is this what you tried ?
