Best Area for a Houndman

My wife and I were discussing relocating recently, and it got me wondering where would be the best place to live for someone who hunts with hounds. I currently live in East Tennessee, and although I love my area for most things, we have very little land to hunt and short seasons that make it difficult for me to hunt my hounds enough. If you could live and hunt anywhere where would it be and why?

I had to do some digging but I asked this very question a few years back. See link below.

MT if you like to hunt cats. Lots of folks also run coyotes out here and hunt racoons also. No bear hunting with hounds though. Idaho is close by which allows hound hunting for bears.

No problem, hope it helps. Interesting to see how recommended California was before the ban on bear hunting. Not good, tough to find a state with it all.

And British Columbia sure is beautiful. If I could find a job there and it was a little simpler transferring countries, I'd seriously consider it.

Arizona has over the counter mountain lion tags and you can hunt them all year long. You can hunt bears from August to December and Coons pretty much year round.

Half the reason I love utah. Bear, off and on from apr-nov, bobcat from nov-feb, and lion in most units from nov- may and some year round.
