I was just curious what your guys thoughts were about a Folding 3-Element Yagi Directional Antenna compared to the 5-Element Yagi Directional Antenna. I know the 5-Element has a 8 Db gain and the 3-Element has a 5.6 dB gain. What does that stuff mean and is there a noticeable difference in tracking distance??

As far as gain goes I really don't know,but I have a 3 element yagi and a folding springloaded 3 element Marshal antenna with the pistol grip that's quite a bit smaller than the other one and it will reach out just as far.It's size makes it pretty handy too.I'm not sure about the difference in gain though
