Hey folks this may open a bigger can of worms than i intend but just wondering what your opinions are on how well black and tans work on lions here in Utah.

I know guys running black and tans on lions and jaguars in south america and I know guys running black and tans on lion in northern british columbia. All with success. Course I know guys running walkers in all those places too......in a nutshell, its a can of worms!

Some of the best bread black and tans for cats are in Utah find someone with a Duncan line.

I'm running a mixed pack in Utah which includes several Black and Tans. I've had good success with them. I agree that the Duncan's have good dogs and I have some with Duncan blood. There are other strains in Utah which also do well on lions, bobcats, bear and 'coons.

GCharles, what strains. drop some names and places if you can. i'm hunting for my next pup and looking into the black and tans.

In my opinion Duncan line is more bear/coon dogs.. I had a few, they would run cats. However they liked bear or coon far more.
