They just felt marginalized by society they HAD no choice but to speak up.
I hear everything's special in California. I liked the wildlife expert quoting verbatim what she's been taught.
As a youngster we had coon problems and it sure wasn't from anyone feeding them willingly. We had bottle calves in the barn and chickens and rabbits in their cages/ pens along the south side. I don't know if it was the milk replacer or feed or rabbits that first attracted them. But I spent months in that barn. I could list all the shit those coons did but basically coons can be damn mean and are smart enough to do plenty of damage. I started out kinda mild mannered with them using a light and 22. But in the end it was anything went. The bad thing about them is I'm convinced they learn from each other. If I trapped or shot one or whatever then it was pretty much a sure thing I couldnt kill another one the same way again. There's probably 100 lbs of lead shot stuck in the walls of that barn.
