Two Different Doctors' Offices

Two patients limp into two different medical clinics with the same complaint?
Both have trouble walking and appear to require a hip replacement.

The FIRST patient is examined within the hour, is x-rayed the same day and has
a time booked for surgery the following week.

The SECOND sees his family doctor after waiting 3 weeks for an appointment,
then waits 8 weeks to see a specialist, then gets an x-ray, which isn't reviewed for
another week and finally has his surgery scheduled for 4 months from then.

Why the different treatment for the two patients?

The FIRST is a Golden Retriever.
The SECOND is a Senior Citizen.

Next time take me to a vet!

Hell everyone complains about the Mexicans using our hospitals. That's like us going to Canada to be treated. Now the true secret is just go to mexico and get treated pay cash for less then your co pay and be home for dinner. I had a little mishap down south and it was 7 pm by the time we got back to the pick up and 8:45 by time we get to a clinic. I'm thinking its likely they won't be open and if they are the chance of convincing them to see me is next to zero .the clinic was closed. But in minutes the whole staff had showed up smiling and friendly run their test patched me up medicated me and gave me directions to a great diner. All less then my co pay for Tylenol here! Most impressive was no paper work or signatures no copying my I'd or phone calls to verify anything. They didn't ask if I had any firearms in my house or any other nonsense. It sure makes you appreciate the insurance industry here. It brought back childhood memories of being seen and treated in the same Dr s office for everything from a cold to broken bones.
On the other hand look at the difference in price and service between the vets and the new "animal hospital" I'm surely not the only one who has noticed this trend.
